From College to the NBA
Before entering the NBA, Cade Cunningham played college basketball at Oklahoma State. During his freshman season, he impressed fans and scouts with his all-around game. He could score from all three levels, create opportunities for teammates, and defend multiple positions. His size and skill made him one of the top prospects in the country.
In the 2021 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons selected Cade Cunningham with the first overall pick. Since then, he has worked hard to improve his game and become the leader of a rebuilding franchise. His maturity, confidence, and work ethic continue to make him one of the most respected young players in the NBA today.
